green is the color of hope
2019 - 2020
The interplay between isolation and connection is one I have frequently returned to in my work; always through the lens of our relationship to nature, it is a tension through which I navigate the world. This work examines that tension at a time I was thinking a lot about climate change and the hopelessness and grief that accompanies it. How do we connect with the natural world, appreciating it’s beauty and finding our solace there, whilst living with the ever constant fear for its fragility and tenuousness?
