A keepsake is “something kept or given, to be kept as a memento” and more specifically “an object kept for the sake of the giver.” What we chose to do with our memories is one way we define ourselves, what we hold on to and what we let go of. These photographs and accompanying artist book, Keepsakes, explores how we preserve memories, how the discoveries we make when exploring the natural world, rekindle the sense of wonder we remember from our childhood.
